    now imagine making this yourself

  3. @mobiltec on February 25, 2025 at 7:46 pm

I do not like the trusses. There is no backing for ceiling drywall in the corners or following the stairs up the wall.

  4. @TehDubster on February 25, 2025 at 7:48 pm

16k sure, but at least another 20k in work you’ll have to do

  5. @lindaliles5930 on February 25, 2025 at 7:48 pm

I believe you can upgrade for a better floor and ceiling. You would need a level slab of concrete prepped for this structure.

  6. @argthepirate on February 25, 2025 at 7:48 pm

you need land to put it on first though . Still awsome that you can get them though

  7. @1956tojo on February 25, 2025 at 7:49 pm

I’ll buy the materials for under $3.500 and build it on site by myself in a week….

    Chipboard, not particle board.

  10. @Teaman596 on February 25, 2025 at 7:57 pm

Banks and insurance companies hate these homes. They can’t make money on them.

  11. @thomasriley4963 on February 25, 2025 at 7:57 pm

Motor city codes won’t allow you to put anything like this up to live in

  12. @PugDaddy-ze2gt on February 25, 2025 at 7:57 pm

if i end up with just this one day i will be so lucky. i have such huge dreams, it’s frustrating not being able to live or die how my mind in vision’s what i want to keep & hold on to but, who am i to complain with hopes of having shelter with a place to die in at the end.

  13. @teresashoot999 on February 25, 2025 at 7:58 pm

Great for a parent home for when their older and need more assistance. One problem though is the 2 levels. Might be worth spending a bit more for a larger one level

  14. @Viceroy321 on February 25, 2025 at 7:58 pm

just think, you could buy two of these, put them back to back, for $33,000 !!
but oh, right , its better to buy a $260,00 house that you cant afford……
    yep, you’re right……

  19. @gerrymcdonald6194 on February 25, 2025 at 8:04 pm

Can you upgrade the order to have plywood instead of particle board on the roof and floor?

  20. @johnsullenger4397 on February 25, 2025 at 8:05 pm

The fact that people are looking at sheds for a home is a very disturbing narrative on the state of the economy. While at the same time, there are people in that same society that own multiple homes with thousands of ft.sq. per occupant.

  21. @AnthonyDelorenzo1111 on February 25, 2025 at 8:05 pm

This is amazing. I had no idea these time homes existed,

Bought my house for 17,5 ….

  25. @Danilo-AZ66 on February 25, 2025 at 8:08 pm

regulations and codes is what I’m worry the most …!!
I don’t like to be told
what I can do or not to do
because it is totally unAmerica in many ways
it’s my land for crying out loud ….. well, that’s what I thought it was
    so I changed my plan
when I’m retired, which is 14 months from now
    I move in the Philippines
and I’m probably renting a house for less of $400 dollars a month
so the regulations and codes can go kiss my ass

  26. @Scorpio75-1rd on February 25, 2025 at 8:12 pm

U could buy 2& have A great home

  27. @jmartinez562 on February 25, 2025 at 8:12 pm

If all they did was insulate them, that cost Home Depot with labor $800 tops, and can sell for $,2000 More

  28. @dannywhipple358 on February 25, 2025 at 8:12 pm

This could make minimum wage job survival possible

  29. @cathypennington2382 on February 25, 2025 at 8:15 pm

    Is this in Ontario

  30. @Eerie_Von_III on February 25, 2025 at 8:15 pm

Honestly I would just get a used single wide mobile home and be done with it. Less hassle.

  31. @georgewettig1860 on February 25, 2025 at 8:18 pm

$33 per square foot. Not terrible by 2025 standards. But I’m used to paying a lot less. Which explains why I’m not going crazy with this. The last house I bought was in 2015 for $11.81 per square foot, and it is a true brick house. You got to look for them and negotiate the price and pray for a miracle but they are there.

  32. @lobstermania4025 on February 25, 2025 at 8:18 pm

Welcome to trump america where sheds are considered luxery homes

  33. @NormFreilinger on February 25, 2025 at 8:19 pm

Narrator sounds like Billy Bob Thornton

  34. @philochristos on February 25, 2025 at 8:20 pm

How would you hook up plumbing? Would you have all the plumbing install in the ground before the shed is delivered? Then, wouldn’t you have to drill a hole in the floor that lines up perfectly with the pipes in the ground?

  35. @claudiapodolsky4025 on February 25, 2025 at 8:21 pm

    Chicken coop

  36. @jerryf4806 on February 25, 2025 at 8:22 pm

    That’s a shed.

  40. @trex860 on February 25, 2025 at 8:30 pm

California would rather spend $80,000 a year renting a space in a parking lot for a tent. That is their solution to the homeless crisis.

  41. @brucelawson642 on February 25, 2025 at 8:31 pm

  44. @Nobnoxious on February 25, 2025 at 8:34 pm

Electric, Sewar, water, carpet, lighting, kitchen appliances, furniture, insulation, drywall, and Biden inflation since 2021 and it’s $50,000 plus you need land to put it on by renting or owning and paying property taxes or HOA fees on.

  45. @janetroberts6249 on February 25, 2025 at 8:34 pm

The building is 16000 and the upgrades to make it a house are another 16000

  46. @pC-zd4qj on February 25, 2025 at 8:37 pm

May I ask why you would not use their financing?

  47. @jackslash on February 25, 2025 at 8:39 pm

Price said “starting at” and had a pic of one with a shed door and no windows. Thats the one you get for 16 grand.

  48. @randysavelljr5324 on February 25, 2025 at 8:39 pm
